Who cares if they overpaid him by 900 grand. Hawks are paying Bickell 4 million for his 28 points. Is that the end of the world like you're making the Sbisa signing out to be? - LeftCoaster
Still a poopty contract, let's not pretend otherwise |

So let him go and bring up a farmhand who's even more unproven? UFA's can't be forced to sign with you, and, you typically have to overpay them. Tell me, who should our seven defencemen be next year? - LeftCoaster
I don't see how a farmhand could possibly be worse |

I'd take Corrado over Bieksa at this point.
Subban and Pedan should develop in the minors. That probably played a part in the decision to sign him in the first place, but a 3 year commitment is egregious. - Gullzy
Bieksa needs the Old Yeller treatment |

At this point, I'd call up all our speedy scorers from Utica, and just gamble.
Sedin Sedin Jensen
Sven Bonino Vrbata
Kenins Horvat Hansen
Higgins Vey Dorsett
If Richardson is ready to go, throw him in for Vey.
Unfortunately, I don't think we have many recalls left. - Gullzy
I don't know why we got rid of him

It's 12:33 AM and the canucks loss has started to affect my personal life. I'm left searching for answers in a myriad of questions in my life. I feel alone. |

Well that was a forgettable night out.
Lots of b!tching about defenseman on here tonight. Did no one notice we struggled to score goals once again? It's been our playoff achilles heal for years, it's never been remedied, and yet we constantly seem to be looking to place blame on the D or the goalie.
On a positive note WD finally played the Sedins the most and they scored. Unfortunately they couldn't do it more than once and no one else backed them up. |

Hmmmmm guys.
You guys still against me the WD is a bad NHL coach?
Guy is a developmental coach. Yet has publicly said he does like young players
And with my assessment that Lack is Reimer 2.0. Outstabding back up with the ability to get hot for periods. Great team guy as well.
I see kenins and MacMillian ripped it up last night. |

Odd that a coach would stick the 1 guys who need a meat and potatoes partner together. This is more a coaching problem then personel |

To be fair , everyone sucked last night. Our goal was a fluke and our team from head to toe was boys against men.
Once again we are proving we are built for the regular season. The only cornerstone of this team is Horvat. After that everyone should be made available. Three years of drafting top 4 would be then best thing to happen to this club. No more of this retool on the fly. We need two top scorers like the Hawks did and a top Dman . Apply that with our B rated prospect pool then we will have a chance to compete.
Year after year it is the same results . This team needs to grow a pair and stop getting manhandled in the POs . |

Alright, and people say the same about Sbisa for pretty much the same reasons. Yet our HC decides to play them together and almost as much as the other pairings. Its not even a matter of opinion, its common sense. Sorry but all the flack our coaching has taken over the yrs this guy is the worst.

And so why does our coach not try different line combinations and double shifting to get the line up going. Every single other coach does it. Or is Willie just smarter then the rest dispite the fact that he is getting out coached. |

I said it at the beginning of the series that special teams will decide this series. Bad PK and bad PP don't add up to wins. |

It boils down to the old expression , you can put lipstick on a pig , but it is still a pig.
You can dress Hansen Higgins up as top 6 but they just aren't. You have two players who can produce , but are getting old for the game. One kid who will be what we have needed for years and the rest are wannabes. |

So thats why we play our worst player as much as a best.
You just mentioned Higgins. Our leading ice time guy in game 3. There's no sense of getting better players if the coach refuses to use them |

His true age (16) is shining through.
What's the deal with him changing team and avatar? Seems childish and prockish. |
