They played 7 minutes in the first. I haven't liked the way Willie has coached this series but you can't lay all the blame at his feet. That's a load of poop. They played like they had already booked a tee time for Friday and really didn't want to have to cancel - bezz44
Willies boys took needless penalties leading to 2 pp goals. The sedins had one goal and hiller made the save of the playoffs off hank early in the 3rd
But I'll agree some of this is on the twins. |

I'm not gonna say that. But Lack was outplayed in game one. Was the better goalie in game 2 and badly outplayed in 3 and 4.
That's the recipe for losing no matter who is the team in front of you.
He's an exceptional back up goalie(reimer like) nothing more, nothing less.
And to be honest Lack should have started the playoffs for Vancouver. Miller still not 100% and lack hot down the stretch. But I thought miller should maybe start game 4 after lacja weak perforance in game 3. But I don't think its debatable , miller has to start game 5 - Bieksa#3
Barring last night (which I still partially blame on the poopty PK not marking the man in front) Eddie has played well enough for us to win every night. That's not a recipe for losing no matter who the team in front of you is because if you can score more than 2 (frank)ing goals in a game then maybe you would win an extra game. And he has had to contend with a poopstorm of errors from the defense. |

I'm not blaming the twins because I thought they played pretty well. But you can't blame every aspect of the game like stupid penalties on the coach. The PK was awful too |

Disagree on game 3. Canucks were dominated, and he didn't stand on his head. Still made some unreal saves and kept them within 2 goals until the 5 on 3. Let in one bad goal yesterday |

I'm asking why he continues to roll the plugs out there if they have no upside to offer. Every team plays their 4th line if they're establishing a forcheck and getting the puxk deep. If not they don't see a lot of time. That's not the case here |

I think for me, the reason we are losing this series is that we are a skill team that has no second line. If we had 3 lines that were banging and crashing then maybe the Sedins would have more space. The lack of scoring is only compounded by Willie refusing to take chances in looking for better options on the second line. When McMillan and Vey were chosen over Baertschi I think we all knew how this would end. I don't think it gets any better until some legitimate skill comes to the second line
Edit: and I don't even want to touch the issue of our D |

He needed to adjust the lines. 4th line wasn't the problem because the lines weren't stacked. Should have had his weakest players playing the least amount of time |

Exactly. Because coach. Read the tempi of the game. Just don't keep rooming lines and make sure everybody gets the same amount of shifts. Mix and match your lines when you're stale to get a apark |

I think it is a combination of things. Getting outworked (player issue) without any adjustment from the coach = continue to get outworked |

Vey looked quick and shifty, water bug almost.

Exactly. If a player isn't pulling his weight then he sits. Not keep playing with your linemates who ate playing well because line juggling is ilegal |

I agree, but I don't think it can be simplified that easily. 80% of our team needs to put in more effort and be better. A spark would help and Willie is the one who needs to find it, but the result has to come from the players themselves |
