8-0 Canucks.
Hopefully Ferland and the rest of the Flames keep the cheap shots and dirty plays out of the game tonight so we can enjoy some good, clean hockey. - hankthetank

Don't you remember?
Every Goal Calgary scores is a highlight reel top 10 play on sportscenter, which shows pure skill
While every goal by a Vancouver player is a result of some lucky bounce. - classic321
I forgot.
All the small, young forwards the Flames have in their line up are superstars, but if the Canucks put Baertschi in a top 6 role than their doomed. It's cool if the Flames do it, but it's idiocy if the Canucks do it. I'll try remain more balanced. |

Their usual line mate in Burrow is out, so whoever fills in will need a bit to find chemistry.
Some of the guys the Flames have in their top 6 are smaller than Baertschi so it's OK for them but not for the Canucks? Great logic.
Doesn't matter anyway, Baertschi isn't playing tonight. - hankthetank
it seems crazy to play vey over sven in this situation. open spot in top 6, motivated player who's been called a top 6 guy by the coach and gm, but let's get the 4th liner who can play 10 minutes. i don't get it. that's ok though, i don't get a lot of things. |

Didn't Vrbata play with them for quite a while? That seems to make the most sense to me. If you are comparing Sven to Gaudreau well then....that's just and awful comparison. |

Haha Gaudreau and Monahan have spent most of the season on the first line. It's not like they are calling up Emile Poirier and putting him on there |

He's not the only small young forward the Flames have. Baertschi has NHL experience and has been dynamite in his time with the Canucks/Comets. If you think trying him with the Sedins is ridiculous, well then... That's just short sighted. |

Isn't Sven pretty weak in the cycle game and mostly dangerous off of the rush? That's what numerous Flames fans said at HFBoards. I don't see that meshing well with the Sedins at all. |

Have to agree Sven just needs a chance, don't think he got that in Calgary. Kids got talent just needs the right situation.

I'd be surprised to see Willie give him a chance this year. He is very loyal to guys he's played before. Would be good for Baertschi to stay with the Comets and help them try win a Calder Cup. |

Any Nucker sightings? I think he's either ended up in a Turkish prison (for selling imitation Kesler sex toys), eloped with Prock to Kazakhstan where they're opening up their own phallic shoe lace nib shop, or has entered the witness protection program as a result of his exposing himself to college schoolgirls during female studies, and molesting Sears lingerie mannequins |

The smart thing to do.
Sedin Sedin Hansen
Baertschi Horvat Vrbata
Higgins Bonino Matthias
Dorsett Richardson Kenins
But we all know it will never happen. It's time to play Horvat with guys that can bury his passes - hertzman

Lol, this might sound weird, but I was struck with some worry last night tbh. I hope he's okay.

Going to be tough tonight with Burrows. He is a great playoff player. Gets under the oppositions skin and has a knack for scoring big goals. At least if they lose tonight we have an excuse? |

Baertschi may be in for Kenins? Coach's not giving a lot of line up info. Love the playoffs. |
