If we lose our fan base big deal. They sit on their hands at games and shush you when you cheer. I could care less if they left.

Have you ever seen an insane fan base like the Flames or Jets this week. We have to go back to the Roger Neilson white towel days. I say good riddance .

- VANTEL

The Aquillinis would very much care.

At a time when the exchange rate is -25% and set to stay that way for some time having an arena half empty is not a viable option.

I'm just saying man, I don't see it happening not because it's necessarily the wrong way to go but it's the financially ruinous way to go with no guarantee of success at the end.

If Bo is ready to play 2nd line next year then that's what I'd like to see. Bonino is better suited as a 3rd liner. Also think Kenins is still a good option as 4LW
- bezz44

I'm not a Kenins hater or anything, but will be hoping to see a bit more size and grit. Kenins isn't so bad, no worse than Weise on the 4th line.

Forgot to slot Kassian in too...

I have no issue with Horvat if he was on the second line. But would guess he would start the season as 3rd line c and move up. If WD rolls his lines the ice time differences shouldn't be that great.

I have sai it before and will say it again. Kev we are trading you or waiving , you chose.

I would also trade Hammer for a first round pick this year, and I really do like Hamhuis. I do believe he can be packaged to Edm

- VANTEL

I think Hamhuis stays and I think he'll resign for cheap. If we're keeping an old guy around I'd prefer it to be him. Doesn't seem to have an ego and would be a good guy to transition to #6 while still being effective as an older player. Cerebral game means he should last longer in theory

Kenins has nice speed and sandpaper. Rather dump Higgins because he could get us something and Kenins is only 23(?) and dirt cheap

That cap space is valuable.

I like Kenins. But some of his passes remind me of Bulis. But you have to let the younger guys make mistakes too, especially if you arent' going to sit the vets when they do similar.

Any predictions on what the d core will look like next season?

The NTC's make it difficult to figure out. I think Bieksa needs a change in scenery but might be too blind to see the need.

Will Clandening and/or Corrado be a regular next season?

Will McCann get the 4th line centre position and be brought along similar to Horvat?

Can anyone see Sven on the second line and Higgins moved to the 3rd?

Sedins Burrows
Sven Bonino Vrbata
Higgins Horvat Hansen
_____ McCann Dorsett (would like to see more size and grit, maybe thru fa or trade)

Too much change? Might just be a crazy summer.

Without accounting for any changes in personnel over the summer (which of course there will be) I'd go with:

Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata
Baertschi-Horvat-Hansen
Higgins-Bonino-Burrows
Kassian-Guance-Dorsett

Comets first playoff game tonight. Shinkaruk scores on the first shot of the game then Jensen scores shortly after. Maybe Canucks can call up Travis Green to coach tomorrow?

He just turned 22 in March. Too early to call it a day for him

Too early to call it a day, but also too early to be penciling him in for next season.

Saw this on the oilers thread… The canadiens have as many playoff wins in the past 6 days as the leafs have in the past 11 years.

Another interesting article on cost difference between canadian and american hockey markets.

I say Bo is beyond his years, so I think he can handle 2LC

Bud, everything we say here is a moot point because we don't make the decisions.

The more goals that go in next year the quicker Miller will ask out.

He looks like he can and has been one of our best players in the playoffs with limited ice time. Will have to reevaluate when we get there but I agree with you at this point
