If I had Edlers size I would stick up for my teammates. Have you personally ever feared away from a fight in a hockey game, when there was a scrum ? Most of us haven't. You can't really say that about more than a few players on this team

As Golfing pointed out this team has never looked good trying to pretend like they are physical. They should push to score and not look to retaliate. If you want them to be tough, you'd need to shuffle the roster. Which I realize is what you're advocating btw.

I disagree. How is it up to Bieksa if he is on the bench. If you are on the ice you stand up for your line mate. Same as I would expect them to do the same.

I look at the Habs , if a scrum breaks up Gallagher and the other smurfs are in there without blinking. Too many players on this team sit back and wait for someone else to do the dirty work
