We've lacked a #1 dman since Jovo was in his prime. We've had some team toughness, and it would be much better with Kassian in the lineup.

Losing Edler for Ferland is a really bad tradeoff.

In the last 10-12 years we haven't had a true #1 though. At our best we were rolling essentially 3 pairs of 2nd pairing d-men.
