I am still trying to figure out if you are trolling or actually believe this media driven garbage? If you do then you are a bigger dumb ass then I suspected. you cannot compare the regular season stats to playoff stats. In the regular season teams play bottom feeders to pad their stats. In playoffs only the elite play. The mere fact that Sedins are within 80-90% of their ppg range from regular season when compared to playoffs means they are in the upper echelons of the players in NHL. I agree their style is not what the media wants and by extension dumb fans like you. Not everybody needs to play the tough aggressive hard hitting hockey to be successful. Canucks over the years (at least during the Sedin years) have had no secondary scoring so teams always stick their top checking lines and best d pairing on them yet the Sedins can still maintain decent ppg is a testament to their toughness, skill and perseverance. I am no fan of Sedins but I appreciate talent when I see it and I can tell you that if Sedins had the secondary scoring help that Gretzky had (also a soft player) then we would be talking a modern day dynasty. I am not suggesting Sedins are at the same level as Gretz but just that every team that was successful in the playoffs had insane depth and abundance of secondary scoring. Vancouver does not. So before you decide to regurgitate your media driven garbage here, I recommend looking at things a little further then just what Cherry says.

Well Said!!!

Hank has scored 57PTS in last 61 playoff games. 52pts in 58 games for Daniel. That's great production in the playoffs.

Toews has scored 86pt in his last 99 playoff games. On a per game basis Hank and Dank have been more productive in terms of points per game yet Toews is seen as a Playoff warrior and the sedins are seen as playoff under performers

I tried on my initial post but the gebrils on Eklunds site went on strike and I lost the post.
Good thing that happened or I would have been on another ban.

the funny thing is if the Canucks were to win the cup, the media will praise guys like KB for his toughness and great hockey skills( ) rather then the Sedins for their skills.
And the dumb ass band wagon jumpers will agree.

Just read something on TSN that made my day.

The post is in response to the article in TSN about Nonis time in TO.

Dedicated employee. First class guy . He was saddled with some roster issues and some history with Burkie. He did some good things with the team as he did with the Canucks. I still say if Nonis had stayed with the Canucks they would have one cup ring. Underrated hockey man, somebody's gain wherever he goes.

Was fortunate enough to go to that game last night, first playoff game I've been to since 2011 and it didn't disappoint!

Hunter Shinkaruk has 10 goals in his last 17 AHL games since being made a healthy scratch. Way to bounce back!

From a few reports I've read and from the Utica games I've watched, he looks to be finally over that hip and getting his timing down. Was always a step behind the play to start the year. Started playing better and getting chances and now seems to be capitalizing on those chances. Would be a great addition if he can continue this pace. Guy always seems to be enjoying himself like no other on the ice.

He has really turned a corner since starting to play with Grenier/O'Rielly on the top line.

Grenier is definitely not a 2way player but for the second straight year he has been one of the best forwards on the farm team. It will be interesting to see if he ever gets a shot in the NHL.

It is not Bennett the 18 year old, it is "Sam Bennett the 18 year old rookie sensation".
