Or maybe just maybe we could put both bieksa and sbisa with a play it safe partner like Hamhuis or Corrado - Bieksa#3
Sbisa will have to be given that treatment given his recent contract re-signing, but for Bieksa that ship has sailed man. He is absolutely past his best and is actually a detriment more often than he's a benefit. Asking a better defender to clean up his mishaps isn't the way forward. He needs to go for the best offer we can get for him. |

Last year's coach played them too much
This year's coach doesn't play them enough.

ego, stupidity, stubbornness, narrow-mindedness or a combination of all four? |

You can argue childishly all you want. But the sedins are both in the 100 range for forwards ice time in the playoffs. Right behind every teams tip 6 forwards.
When I went to school there was a significant gap between 16 min per night and 24 min per night.
Are the sedins perfect? Heavens no, but they are all we got. - Bieksa#3
I am not being childish or blaming the Sedins. The Canucks problem is secondary talent. Not the Sedins and not the coaches ( all 3 of them) |

Yet the coach plays Higgins and bonino more then his top 10 scorers.
While there are plenty of issues, either the coach is a problem or every other coach in the sport is an idiot. |

That is exactly the problem KB3 . After Sedins and Bo the talent level drops off very quickly |

So you are blaming WD for not playing them enough , Torts played them in every situation last year , where did that get us.
I want Higgins gone more than anyone , but playing him three minutes more a game is not why we are losing again |

and losing Burrows was also a bit set-back. He's even more valuable in the playoffs |

And Sbisa and bieksa almost as much as edler and tanev. If the talent level is so dropped off why are the lesser guys playing more?
Is Higgins and bonino that much better then twins or horvat or is coaching a major issue. Because its clearly one or the other |

Classic. <<<<< empathic period
Don't worry, we'll ensure the Flames are Comfortably Dumb...er Numb and hit em with full force and wraith and fury! - Zogg
Steps to flames success, 1-2-3-4-5 crush and then 79 gets back to the bench after his average 21 second shift. The result from then on is every Canuck player looking for a train before playing the puck. Byexca can cower and throw all the sucker punches he wants but, the end result will be the same. Tee time 8am Friday morning. |

You can't have Edler and Tanev playing 40 minutes a night. Twins can not play 30 minutes.
You are right it is no use arguing . You think Willie is the reason we are losing even the the results have been constant since 2012. I think WD is doing fine. A few rookie mistakes, but I refuse to blame him for the results of this roster |

He also can come unraveled and take untimely penalties. I like Burrows but he's like Forest Gump's box of chocolates. |

I wonder what we'd get for him. He's such a polarizing figure that it's tough to get a pulse on his value in the trade market. |
