He's waiting on Babcock and another coach, then it will go from there. I think Babcock wants more say so then he has in Detroit. I like McLellan but that's me. - SABRES 89
Other than Richardson? Bylsma? |

It wouldn't shock me if Ted Black inquires about Malkin. |

I could see Bylsma but I think the Richardson thing is more media driven. |

He seemed to fail in the NHL with the Kings and Blues but a great collage coach. |

Why are people offer sheeting Saad?
We're going to give up the 2nd overall pick for Brandon (frank)ing Saad?

When do/can they offer sheet a player? |

Our other 1st, Hogson, Pysyk get it done or do we have to throw in a bit more?
An almost 30 year old C with injury history and a 9.5 hit? I think that seems fair. |

NHL free agents can discuss new contracts with other teams beginning on the day after that season's entry draft, which is also the deadline for a team to make a qualifying offer. Discussions must cease if a player accepts a contract from his own team or is confirmed to go into arbitration with his team, be it player- or team-filed.
EDIT: I do not agree with offer sheeting anyone anyways though. We are still gonna have a high pick next year. Having to give up that first and any other picks just seems like too much... |

I'm just curious. That last part.
Why do we want him then?
The only thing that would make that better is if he had one eye. |

I think it might take our other 1st, Ennis and a D man or 2. He makes a lot of money and only a few teams could take him. They need D. |

Thanks.
Eh.
I like Saad. But there have been only 8 offer sheets signed in the last 10 years. Probably unlikely.

Ask JR, if it was up to him we would offer sheet everyone. Saad is a product of how good the Hawks are and IMO, nothing more. |

Because he provides the aforementioned leadership with cup experience role, has flourished when out of Crisby's shadow and eases the pain of missing out on McDavid, while softening the blow of Eichel potentially returning to school/helps lure Eichel here knowing he can learn from on of the last generation's great players and help ease him onto that 1C role as Malkin starts to decline but is still here as a legit star and a better 2C than anyone else we have on our roster or in our system. Also, our other Centers such as Reinhart, Girgensons could only benefit from his presence and experience.
he may not speak engrish but they can follow his on ice example.
