I think it might take our other 1st, Ennis and a D man or 2. He makes a lot of money and only a few teams could take him. They need D. - SABRES 89

Hard to say but I think Toffoli is a better player. - SABRES 89
I think Toffoli might have more skill, but Saad plays that full game. |

IMO the Pens don't move Crosby or Malkin, I just think that Ted Black will inquire about Malkin. |

STOP SMOKING BAD S$$T JR - SABRES 89

Because he provides the aforementioned leadership with cup experience role, has flourished when out of Crisby's shadow and eases the pain of missing out on McDavid, while softening the blow of Eichel potentially returning to school/helps lure Eichel here knowing he can learn from on of the last generation's great players and help ease him onto that 1C role as Malkin starts to decline but is still here as a legit star and a better 2C than anyone else we have on our roster or in our system. Also, our other Centers such as Reinhart, Girgensons could only benefit from his presence and experience.
he may not speak engrish but they can follow his on ice example. - DynamicThreads
Risky, imo.
But we all know Pegula.
Likes to make the "big splash".
I can't have a huge opinion on it until I see who we gave up.

Ask JR, if it was up to him we would offer sheet everyone. Saad is a product of how good the Hawks are and IMO, nothing more. - SABRES 89
It would be our pick next year not this year |

Me either, I'm just talking hockey players. Not much else to discuss at this point. Saad just made a very good play in this game right now. |

They need to do something, and I wouldn't hate having Malkin on the Sabres. If it took Ennis, late 1st and 2 D prospects, I wouldn't lose any sleep.
I just hate Ennis's stupid face. They can have Gionta's goatee, too if they want. |

Malkin on this team would be perfect. 1c so you have the luxury of sheltering eichel and Reinhart for a bit |

I only know of 1 offer sheet the Sabres wanted to make and that was for Parise. |

Yup.
When you start throwing offer sheets around, especially with players such as Saad, Toffoli and the like, it stands to reason that the $ will be over $2 million a year. Once it hits that mark, we start losing 1st round picks. |

I know everyone hated this term but, do you think Malkin is a " Murray type " player ? |

Malkin ? you aren't getting Malkin without giving up our other 1st we have. The Pens don't have a 1st this year. |
