Now the real challenge begins. People have been counting us out all season long. (frank) the Ducks, we'll at least give them a run for their money!

Go Flames Go!!!

Yup. I imagine the Ducks are looking past at Chicago. Hopefelly we will be able to give them a surprise.

Hiller starts, Hartley will give him chance to for revenge.

Our D are going to have to get in on the scoring. They did it all year, need them to come through now.

ANA needs to start games earlier against the Flames. They can't just show up late in the 3rd like they did against WPG.

How fitting to win a series with that game. Top line matched a record for most points in a playoff game by a single line and we had a huge character come back. Can't get enough of this team.

My money is on Hiller starts the next round. He was a huge reason why we were up and even in game 5 at all. Plus it's against his former team. The leash will be short I'm sure but my money is on him getting the start.

Wonder if Bouma or Byron might be ready at some point this round. Would be great to have Bouma in against the ducks and Raymond riding the pine. Love Raymonds speed and his heart seems to be in it but the guy has hands like bricks.

Although I agree with this assessment, and I can't wait to get Bouma back from his shoulder or wrist injury, I think the Flames will need Raymond and maybe even Byron in this series. The Ducks play a heavy game and won't be AS intimidated by the physical game that Calgary deployed against the Canucks. Don't get me wrong, the Ferland - Stajan - Jones line will need to bring their 60+ hits to this series as well, to get the Ducks' D-men rushing the puck off their stick and looking over their shoulder, but a speed game will be the most effective strategy in this series. Raymond has been close, nearly and almost for 8 or 10 games so he might just be coming into one of his typical streaky goal scoring spurts. At the very least, Mason's speed will continue to back off the Ducks D-men and prevent them from pressuring the Flames forwards at the offensive blue line. If Raymond doesn't score, but simply keeps the "experienced" Ducks team on their heels when defending, he will have helped to contribute.

Not sure who I'd prefer blowing past their Defense and having a clear breakaway from center ice to the goal; Raymond or Byron?

With both teams having so much success in coming back and having won so frequently when trailing after 40 minutes, I'm not sure either team wants to head into the 3rd with a slim lead. It does however highlight that neither team start games extremely well. The key to this series may be quick starts and keeping the pedal to the metal for the Flames with speed and consistent shift after shift fore-checking.
