You're right it doesn't guarantee anything

To say Ennis is on the up side is a bit much too since he has never put up 50 points. I think he ceiling is 55 to 60 though.

By the time Ennis had matured into a consistent NHLer, this team was showing how pathetic it really was. He didn't really get to play with anyone of real talent. Stafford and Foligno were his best linemates in 2012-2013.

I'll take Ennis at his salary than Kessel and his at that point.

No whats comical is why anyone would want to spend a dime on Kessel.

Let him rot in Toronto.

He's not what this team needs now. Not even close.

The cost far outweighs it all right now. You and I both know the other 1st, prospects, and other picks aren't getting it done. Girgensons will be the start and IMO the conversation ends there.

Maybe in 2 years but at that point he's 30 and we all know what happens to one trick ponies at that age.

Ennis is a fully capable 1st line winger, especially if he's on a line with Kane and Eichel.
