Most people would, but Backes is going to cost more than just a late first where Oshie probably wouldn't.

The Blues fans want to strip Backes of the captaincy, For what that is worth.

I know this isn't nearly the most important thing, but Kessel is just such an unlikeable douchenozzle I'd cringe having him on this team. Plus, we already have our douchebag in Kane, thank you very much.

What is more important is he's a petulant 1-trick pony of a player who has openly told his coaches he refuses to play their system. Really not the kind of guy I want to put stock in building around. And at his salary we would be building around him.

Someone mentioned on GR and they talked a bit . If the Oil took Hannifin the draft would have to take a time out to get it back together.
