Grigorenko IMO should be traded but I love this kid. I really want to keep him. If the Sabres do trade him it should be for a star RW and no Sharp doesn't count.

Baptiste, Compher and the rest of the "newbies" should all have at least a year or two in the AHL.

thx...those two are so similar in their games and both are really good with their first pass out of the zone...rudy has more offense to his game right now, had plenty of pp time in Rochester plus he's more apt to jump into the rush

Pysyk is the better overall player. Ruhwedel IMO should be traded this offseason. Trade him in a deal with the Flyers for Simmonds or something.

They remind me of the 07 Sabres. Obviously this lineup has more talent, but the player structure and game philosophy is likely the same. Good thing it's international or they'd get their asses kicked up and down the ice.

I'd rather see him in Blue and Gold next year. Not many guys out there like him. He may not seem all that impressive, but he's a guy that very quietly gets the job done. His outlet pass alone is why they need to keep him around.

Orpik said that was the most physical series he's ever played in. I have the feeling that's going to cause issues for Washington going into this next round. They're probably all really banged up already and going to be facing a Rangers team that's had some time to recoup from their aches and pains.

Ebs is a slightly better version of Ennis.

Keep Ennis, get a bigger two way RW like Oshie or Eriksson

So now that we know that the Islanders pick will be ours in either the 18 or 19 spot (depending on how the Red Wings/Lightning series shakes out) does anyone have an idea will be around then? Kind of curious to hear about other prospects now that the lottery is over with. I think I had read (red) somewhere that the tiers go 1-2, 3-5, 6-11, 12-19 as far as talent goes. I don't see GMTM trading this pick away unless it's for a first line winger, which we probably won't get.

He shouldn't trade the pick IMO. He's tossed around several draft picks lately and we have dropped a few spots in the prospect rankings. Keep the cupboards full.

Chicago could have built a team off the guys they traded over the last few years. It's how you stay competitive each year in today's NHL

1 first round pick in a year where you have 2, and the one is a generational player shouldn't make much difference. If you are getting a young top 6 winger with it then I am all for it.
