Hedman didn't go after him cuz hedman is a woman. His special with Diane sawyer is next Sunday. Regardless, and I'm not trying to be a Richard or anything but if you watch the video you can see he clearly left the ice. If that had happened to a wings player you would be a little upset to. Just the way it is.

Palat jumped about 3 feet off the ice to hit glendening. Kronwall lifted his front skated 3 inches. Momentum is obviously gonna carry you off the ice. Leaving your feet is when you jump like Palat did. So it did happen to a wings player lol

1. Kronwall left his feet
2. He extended his elbow
3. He targeted the head

Case closed.

I can't believe this is even being talking about? Hedman didn't even go after Kronwall. Their own team didn't even think it was dirty but there is a thread about kronwall throwing dirty hits for year without punishment lol this is almost comical.

CBC showed a number of Kronwall's similar hits. Questions to be answered are 1) Did he leave feet early, 2) did he get his backside around like he usually does?

Shayne Corson last player suspended for a game 7 in playoffs. Corson kicked a player during a fight.

Doubt Kronwall is suspended.

lol....okay rebuttle. Front skate was an inch off the ice and the momentum carried him off the ice. Obviously when you hit someone who falls and you are falling forward you arm is gonna come through.

If he jumped prior to the hit and had his elbow up prior to the hit I understand. But saying he came off the ice and his elbow came up as a result of the momentum of the hit is not a valid argument

The key being leave his feet early. IMO he came off the ice as a result of the hit which is not charging. If you look at what Palat did....that to me is coming off the ice early. If the momentum leads him off the ice and his elbow comes out cause he's falling forward that's completely different than jumping early with your elbow extended

I was trying to be nice but clearly you are just ignorant. Oh well. He will probably be suspended and if not, it is what it is. Either way, game 7 should be a great game. I will be in attendance

1 true.
2 true
3 untrue.

He didn't target his head. Not defending it cause I think he should sit a game. Other way around I would say the same thing. It's a 1 game suspension

I'm ignorant because I dont agree with you? that seems a little hypocritical dont you think? I'm saying I think what Palat did is coming off your feet. I'm explaining my POV but apparently I'm ignorant? lol Logic...

Kucherov said he is okay after Kronwall hit, didn't call it dirty: "It's a hit, I'm not going to cry now. It's part of the game."

No, you're ignorant because your saying that something which is documented on video didn't happen. Now it seems you are admitting he left the ice but it was a result of some act of God maybe? Maybe he was levitating? Seems like you would think that is "logic".

Because he knows he should have had his head up. That's all im saying. When you see Palat jump at Glendening and then ppl are complaining about Kronwall "leaving his feet" I just find that hard to swallow. We're trying to make something out of nothing. With what they called that game I'm surprised it wasn't a penalty...but in the playoffs (considering the CAPS/NYI series) this is not a suspension

What are you talking about? I said the hit caused him to leave the ice. Where did I say it was an act of God. You're confused that two ppl can have a different opinion breaking down a slow mo video second by second? All I stated was Palat jumping at Glendening is what I determine to be leaving the ice... if you can't understand that ppl have different opinions then idk what your issue is. Just trying to argue another point and you want to exaggerate my words...pretty normal on threads I suppose lol typical know it all trolls

How on earth did the refs not make a call on that play?
- stljam

Kronwall been making that ass first run for years... and getting away with it. Dangerous play.
Won't be called because Kronwall plays for Detroit and is not Canadian.

Fill in the blanks yourself.

The language in the NHL rulebook states that the "leaving the feet", is if players are "launching" which is the term used in the book. So TB arguers, there I ask...

did Kronwall "launch" at him?

You don't seem to comprehend anything I say. All you seem to be able to communicate is "palat jumped" and "lol". But hey I wouldn't expect any more from someone from the slum capital of the u.s. It all makes perfect sense now.
