Yeah, sometimes I feel like his forearm makes initial contact with the upper chest and sometimes I think he gets the head. I think I read that despite all of his huge (sometimes questionable) hits in the past, Kronwall hasn't been suspended before. No prior history of suspensions + no Kucherov injury + game 7 = no suspension

yup. the league definitely takes results into the equation, which is an illogical way of looking at it.

Agreed. The act itself and it's intent matters a lot more to me than the result itself. Kind of like the bush league high sticking minor vs double-minor. I whack someone with the flat side of my stick really hard on purpose, it leaves a red mark but no blood and I get 2 minutes. I accidentally nick someone and there's a drop of blood and it's 4

I have to admit, I'm no within the agreement with this. Not after I've seen Shea Weber grab Hank Zetterberg by the head and ram it into the glass like 2 years ago. Kronwall throws questionable hits all the time. This is a regular season call you make to start building a case against him. I think it's just wrong to call this just before a Game 7. They've had yeas to suspend Kronwall.

Just because they got a decision wrong in the past, doesn't mean they should not make the right decision on this incident. Game 7 or not, it's a hit worthy of a suspension.

Sorry but this doesn't make sense. I'm not arguing that what Weber didn't wasn't blatant, or didn't deserve to get suspended for it. None of that changes what Kronwall did, and that was a hit that deserved a suspension. The Weber situation has nothing to do with that.
