I would love Babcock. However, I don't know if Tim Murray would hire him. He has said that his style is that he manages and the coach coaches and that's that. From what I have read Babcock wants to be involved with drafting and trades. I think they would have a hard time getting along no matter how much he gets paid.

I know i was just alluding to the comment about him possibly being Eichel's teammate. Far more likely that Boychuk is picked up as a depth player than Carolina getting Eichel.

He was waived twice from 1/31/13-3/21/13.

Not only would I not waste an offer sheet, I wouldn't waste a contract on him.
