Again, no one cares what you think.

I care what he thinks. He seems to have much more of a grip than the dude who thinks we can get Chicago to give us Sharp, and a pick while retaining salary. All just for Sutter in return...

Semin isn't half as bad as his production this last season appears.

Is he worth $7 million? Probably not.

Is he worth $5 million? Definitely. One poopty season does not a career make.

- BINGO!

He is far from a 5 million player. Non productive lazy enigmas that have terrible work ethic and don't come close to matching their talents don't deserve that type of $$$.

There is nothing I typed that is wrong. It's fact. The fact you disagree means you are deluded.

LOL, you are such a Richard it actually hurts to read what you write sometimes. Well thought out, but hubris just aint your thing at all.

I have more faith in Sid remaining healthy than Letang. I have more faith in Bennett not breaking his wrists again than Letang remaining healthy.
- Oneonta Penguin

So if Sid goes head first falling backwards he's completely fine? That would happen to almost ever single person. Last year he had a stroke. That alone is two things he can't control. Even though you hate him, you better get used to watching him. He'll be here for a while.

This team has no assets to acquire better players!!! What part of that do people not understand?

After reading through all the shenanigans, I can honestly say that its amazing how worked up people are.

I could sit here and say WE MUST TRADE SID AND GENO! Then you all say "You're a crazy idiot". And at the end of the day it makes no difference. We aren't the GM. He doesn't read this crap.

Everyone is getting bent out of shape and all pissy about things in their own head. Calm down, get a grip, and lets be fans together, eh?

Both seem like a horrible idea but sharp is exponentially better than semin. It's over for semin in the NHL at any price. He's buyout/ KHL bound. If a Sharp was even 2 years younger he would be a very good idea. But now he's only going to decline and we have nothing to send the other way. Maatta, Pouliot and Dumoulin should be untouchable with Cole pretty close. Letang is untraceable with his NTC so that's a moot point. Will Chicago take Suckjoy and retain some of sharps salary? Not very likely so let's find a different idea.

You guys have to be joking?

A former 1st overall pick that's only 21 and signed to a great bridge deal who will be an RFA after it expires will take Pouliot+ to get. He's exactly the type of young player on a cheap contract the Pens need.

But nah, you guys will just continue to deal 1sts and 2nds for old forwards that leave as UFAs within 3 years of the trade.

- rangerdanger94

Hahaha!! The rangers are one to talk about wasting prospects and picks. What did you give up for yandle again? And he's done exactly jack squat for the Rangers. What a joke you are rangerdanger. Pouliot is going to be a superstar in this league, it's already very obvious, the kid dominates with the puck. Yak is very much still a mystery to everyone despite his draft position. But then again rangerdanger still lives in a world where the Rangers would have beet the pens without mcfonaugh, girardi, staal and yandle and with major injuries to Stepan, Kreider and Marty. In other words you're a delusional idiot who needs to keep to his own

Yeah, neither of those ideas are attractive IMO. I know there's limited options, but I can't stand Semin. I remember watching a 'Canes game during the season and thought to myself that guy has no shame. Just stealing his money. A LOT of money.

This team needs to get younger and bigger. Those are my priorities.

I apologize for bringing an outside perspective to your circle jerk.

I can't bueve your parents haven't just got sick of you living in their basement and killing you. You are the dumbest POS ever. Go back to the garbage rags board and stop bothering people. BTW although I hate the caps with all my heart the rags have 5 more games tops in their season so get ready to be extra suicidal than normal. Here's hoping you finally slit your wrists and rid the world of your useless presence.

Ok so we are looking at trades based on JR saying he's looking.

JR wants faster & younger.

I realise Ryan you are just showing potential targets/options out there.

What about (I've said this before), looking at trades with Canucks, Sven B (who played in the playoffs for the Canucks) & Kassian. It will cost as Sven went for a 2nd? someone said - wow, a 2nd for a young fast winger with another year(?) how much was Winnik???

So with that as a start how much would Kassian & Sven cost us? Maybe Kuni with Harrington getting a pick back as well? Sutter with a pick? Pouliot straight up (haven't seen JR say Puoliot & Maatta are off limits but I have seen all the press)??

I'm sure we can work something out.

Now all you doomsday bums call me out & say they are both busts.

I think if we are going to get a couple of wingers young & fast Pouliot & Maatta need to be available.

I think we should start with shopping Sutter+Harrington/Jarry around. I think that package can get us a decent top 6 winger.

FWIW...I'd take he 'lazy Russian' Semin at $3.5M over Kunitz at $3.7M. But he's got to be super cheap to acquire.

Would still rather go younger. I like the idea of chasing Yakupov. ROR still an option because he'll be cheaper to acquire due to the contract.

But maybe the best bet is some younger guys that like Tomas Jurco that havent hit their full potential.

I'd take Semin at $5m over Scuderi at $3.3m. At least there is a small chance he could work in the top 6. There's zero chance Scuderi is more than a 6th dman on the team.

I'd like Nichuskin but I don't think we have what Dallas wants.

Great young player. I'd imagine Dallas wants defense, but a guy like Nichushkin will cost a guy like Maatta.

Ok where does the bidding start? Scuds?
