I actually use it (IT nerd). Suspect the web page was likely poisoned by someone with more time than morals since it ran & loaded on its own--probably an I-frame or java vector. The running chat section is also a way to deliver malicious goods. Either way, my security programs and awareness didn't stop it from taking control of my PC

That malware was the nasty sort (root-level) with ties from outside the US. Could have been worse...others had to completely wipe their drives.

Either way, hockeystreams seems a safer, though not fool-proof, option to me

Granted Russia is playing Norway today, but our guy Artemi looked pretty solid in period 1, Good entries to offensive zone, good w/o the puck, good passes, quick shots, good defensive awareness, etc

Adblock is great. The best IMO.

However, some of the newer ads are so deeply embedded in a page's code that nuking the ad also nukes the content. That's still not terribly common, yet, but is a disturbing trend. Continual game of building the better mousetrap...

Yeah, a lot of streaming video won't run unless I pause blocking. Each ad/tracker/cookie has to call on a second one to actually run the video. ESPN is really good at this kind of coding.

I know the universe loves Suter ... capable op playing 30 mins blah blah blah but I always seem him with the - against other teams big players and he was awful in the Olympics vs high end talent every shift.
