(frank) off haters, we'll be fine. Boudreau always chokes in round 1 or 2. - Nucker101
Trust me, Hiller always chokes in pressure situations. (5 goals in the last 17 shots in 2 important games.) But he's great if you're just hoping to make the playoffs. You could see a couple of wide open looks he had at shots that hit the post where he didn't even move early in the game. But I heard vertigo causes soft goals.
Boudreau will be just fine. He doesn't even play the game any more. Hopefully Hartley starts that proven loser one more time. If he does, the Flames will have to win 4 of the next five to advance. Good luck with that. The Ducks still have Sekac, Wisniewski, and Fleischman in the wings just waiting for their chances When Bollig gets suspended for injuring his first Duck.

Capital's vrs Ducks for the cup. Ducks win there first 8 games and the cup. Good run Flames but it's Ducks year. Just my opinion.

One game folks, one game. While the Ducks certainly outplayed and out-muscled them...the Flames didnt play overly well. - Colin Dambrauskas
and that was due to Anaheim not letting them. i think maybe the series win over Vancouver has led to some incorrect assumptions here. that was a pretty mediocre Canucks team the Flames beat. they're in a whole different league now.

The Flames play last night was mostly on them. They were mostly scared and timid all night. Hopefully they can treat last night as a wake up slap and not a knock out punch.

Meh... the giggles they still had from the Canucks series is gone... Had Jooris scored on the breakaway in the first, who knows. The Flames just got a square kick in the nuts, lets see if they get up or stay down. Game 2... its the critical game.

This.
I didn't want to see the Canucks cobble together a roster to make the playoffs because, the D-Core is just so bad.
Beating the Canucks in the first round is akin to Tallest Midget.
One game. I'm sure the Flames realize they can't match or dominate the physical game the way they did against Van. Just worried about the injuries, that hit on Gaudreau should be a suspension, dangerous play.
If Ferland is out who draws in? I'm thinking Wolf. He's got the size. That or call up Big Ern
