Even if he has to pay his own way, I can't see him not being in attendance. Hard to make a decision of whether or not you want to leave if you don't get a chance to see what the organization and everything is all about.

Either way, I'm sure there's ways to make it happen, being that we've had guys there in the past. If Eichel really wants to be in the NHL next year but doesn't want to sacrifice his NCAA eligibility right away, there's ways to work it out. Who's to say they don't just bunk him with the "vet" guy that's usually at development camp? That guy probably already has an apartment or house in Buffalo. It's $0 cost to Eichel or the organization that way. THen all he has to pay for is a flight. Or, worst case, he just drives himself. It's not like Massachusetts is that far.

Pretty premature to say there's not room for a guy who's probably at least 3 years away.

That being said, if he's part of a package to bring a top 6 guy in, then so be it.

Murray doesnt want a slow rebuild. Enough pieces are in place to make a decent run at the playoffs next year. Trade a couple pieces for a top six forward and maybe a top 4 dman and you have a lot better of a team than we did this year.

you are absolutely batpoop crazy if you think we're going to make the playoffs like I expect them to be good maybe out of the top 5 this team will be in the lottery next year then after that will be contending

just watching teams in the playoffs you could see how far away we are if you look at a team like Calgary that's a perfect blueprint for us they are absolutely getting destroyed right and we're not even close to that Calgary team yet

I dont think we will make the playoffs but we have enough pieces to put together a decent team. Ive got to imagine ristolainen and zadorov will develop more in the offseason along with a few other prospects. Kane could come in and add some needed goal scoring. Pysyk will be in the NHL instead of the clowns we had on D this year. Murray will almost indefinitely make moves this offseason to bring in more talent so I dont think its impossible for us to have a shot at making the playoffs.

the goal is not to put together a decent team the goal is to be contending every year for the cup we're not ready let's not rush things the free agent market sucks and who knows what the trade market will be

I agree Calgary is the team I was most excited about cause I think they are a year or so ahead of us and they are getting blown up by the ducks i wish they could win more.

you sound like Darcy Regier really Chicago would love a type of player like him you can't have too much depth on forward

They finished 4th last in 2014 and are now in the second round. If anything i think they should give sabres fans hope.
