I am real interested to see him play from this point forward if he stays on that line. We may be able to get a sense over period of time in the playoffs, whether we may be able to expect a little more from this kid -- can he be a good Top 9 guy?
- Pete V

It will definitely make the loss of Duclair, the waiting on Buchnevich, and the decline of MSL a lot easier to overcome if he can be a staple in the top 9 at that low salary.

They just put him on a charger on the bench

Oh yeah, Ovi is one of a kind. I think he enjoys getting hit sometimes. haha

Exactly, like Marshawn Lynch, he looks for the contact then turns into a Russian Junkyard Dog with an immense skill set and unrelentless effort

All kidding aside, the problem with OV is the more you do that kind of thing to him, the angrier he gets the more Ivan Drago-like he becomes. Ivan Drago is not a fictional character, he wears #8 for the Caps.
- Blueshirts4ever

OV is the Hulk. The angrier he gets the more unstoppable he becomes.

I move that in between plays players randomly give him a hug. Move Talbot down to that end of the bench to constantly yell nice things to him.

I am looking for a Floyd Mayweather type of performance from the Rangers tonight. Bore me to tears, fend off some flurries, don't get hit, and just win the game.

I actually disagree on the last point. That's just not the Rangers. They pride themselves on the whole whistle-to-whistle thing, and I think they just need to be themselves, and not get drawn into the extracurriculars. Not saying they should play tough and standup for themselves, but be physical with a purpose (not just for the sake of acting tough).
- Pete V

Very true. I just think sticking it to Ovi (literally) might take him stake a stupid penalty here and there. Don't expect NYR to do that though..Probably a smart thing

But he's not scoring, so he sucks
Brassard is scoring and Nash is putting up assists. Kind of reverse of the regular season. But as long as we keep winning, I don't care who's doing what.

I really think he scores tonight. If he does...LOOK OUT. Once he gets off the schneid the goals will start to pile up

Feel for him. He's playing good/great at times, but not getting credit by most.
