that goal was (frank)in painful...
20ish seconds left after bischoff made a big save on a SH breakaway - dt99999
painful yeah, no doubt. but im more saying that a good hockey team gets over it. Habs went into hysterics. |

Matt Beleskey would be a nice pick up on July 1st if they ever want to show they care. |

i think they need to go back to Tremblant and undo whatever they did between games 3 and 4 against Ottawa. |

Don't know if that whole thing with Prust was true...If not, he's really an idiot. If it is true, it is unacceptable for a ref to behave that way.
I'm really surprised that Prust did share all of it with the media. I thought that it's the kind of stuff you talk about with your GM.
I guess it can happen when you throw microphones in the face of player when he's still riled up.
Still, there are no excuses, they need to keep their cool and stay focus. - stinger67
I'm guessing he left out a little bit of the story....like why Watson went off on him in the first place. |

that last goal (or maybe the 5th) on the PP when Kourouchronovyov was just alone on the slot to tip it... I don't know how he didn't start hacking at the 4 habs who were just standing and watching. |

He said to the media that he told Watson his call was weak. Something that probably happens on 60% of calls a ref makes. Players argues often with refs, that's not something out of the ordinary |
|
|
|
The Canadiens have every right to be mad at the officiating last night.
How are they supposed to win games if the referees won't whistle play dead before Tampa scores?!!

Try and get Malkin. He said Montreal would be one of the places he'd waive to go to. Easier said than done though - maxbart5
Expensive contract... but i'd take his talent any day.
He would probably cost the moon. |

Was that right after the bump with Bishop?
Seriously, the refs should never be giving Bishop the benefit of the doubt... the guy initiates the contact himself then flops around.
Look at Mitchell's penalty again...after the puck hits Bishop and bounces up in the air (he's in the crease at this point) et pushes forward right into Mitchell (and ends up a good foot out of his crease)... He does it all the time, and the refs keep biting (and the hab players too).
Yeah you gotta protect the goalies...but if they jump in harms way like that, they should be on their own... |
