I don't think I'd call it a goalie duel. Price was given a water gun
- ehabs9

Kinda see it that way. Offensive issues continue.
St.Louis has the same problem. Dominant reg season, defensively sound all year, but run into an equally good goalie and they get torn apart quickly.

GM shat the bed. 2nd place team in the league...beat the unbeatable bumbaclots and are now down 3 games to none in the semis....ask yourself. What would Shanny do?
- Pickle

Hopefully not turn the organisation into the Eastern Conference's rendition of the Canucks?

They tied the game. They thought their job was done apparently.

Being angry at this point accomplishes nothing. They got beat out by a team that took their opportunities. It's comical because Pleks coasts to centre, passes the puck of patches ass, goes the other way and our guys coast back leaving a Lightning player open in the slot. Markov or someone is swimming on the ice while no one covers anyone, then the puck goes in off subbans stick between prices legs with 1 second on the clock....you can't think up a more pathetic way to lose.
- Habsolute009

Sure you could, Ovi outworked McDonough in the corner to get assist on last second game winner last week!

Thats right, Ovechkin outworked someone; thats sad.

Yes, much better to model yourselves after the Oilers.

Fire the coach while holding down a playoff spot?

I don't agree with the Ovi hate, but that's just me I guess. He's about to have his team on the cusp of a ECF appearance. One that will be very winnable against Tampa IMO.

Ovechkin is on pace to be one of the greatest goal scorers in NHL history with hardware to spare...but he's lazy.

Got it!

Did you watch Bishop flop around all series. He looks like he's dead half the time. Then, he's up and going two seconds later.

I'm hoping someone makes him pay dearly tomorrow.

- TimBits

He's 6'7 and he barely moves to make a save. If he didn't have his size he would be nothing.

It must have happened somewhere sometime right? Maybe they should inject Lamoriello with Gainey's blood

Sadly, probably not... I dont see MB making any real moves.

I expect to see Galchenyuk get a 2 yr bridge deal and Beaulieu will probably get a 5 year deal. Tinordi may or may not be with the team; doesn't really matter. Petry will probably jump ship for a bigger offer somewhere or go to a team like NYI or Pitt. MT will still be here and so will all those ancient d-men that we have on the roster...

You're lazy, but you're on a record setting pace in these forums. It's doable.

Good to see the media propaganda really doing its job. I'm rooting for the Caps to take it this year.

But his +/- was bad one year and there is a gif with him quitting on a play with clever editing!
