I don't agree with the Ovi hate, but that's just me I guess. He's about to have his team on the cusp of a ECF appearance. One that will be very winnable against Tampa IMO. - Habsolute009
I actually like Ovi and think he works harder than a lot of people realize. That said the stigma is that he doesn't. |

He's 6'7 and he barely moves to make a save. If he didn't have his size he would be nothing. - maxbart5
Kinda like the Habs without Price? |

You're lazy, but you're on a record setting pace in these forums. It's doable. - ehabs9
Of course I'm lazy. I blame Therrien. |

Sadly, probably not... I dont see MB making any real moves.
I expect to see Galchenyuk get a 2 yr bridge deal and Beaulieu will probably get a 5 year deal. Tinordi may or may not be with the team; doesn't really matter. Petry will probably jump ship for a bigger offer somewhere or go to a team like NYI or Pitt. MT will still be here and so will all those ancient d-men that we have on the roster... - nords21
I think we could see a big move or two if they're there. He's not going to break the bank to make a splash though.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him try and get someone out of Edmonton. |

...but he does make saves. Well I guess they'll keep him in net then. |

Ovechkin is on pace to be one of the greatest goal scorers in NHL history with hardware to spare...but he's lazy.
Got it! - AdamFrench
better than a point per game in regular season over his career and a point per game in the playoffs over his career, he sucks |

So the Habs just lost a goalie duel where they dominated possession. In what world do we live? |

What would you guys prefer? Bergevin trading for a proven scorer or trading for a top 5 draft pick and picking one of the offensive players like Marner, Strome, etc? |

Ok ill spell it out for you.
Habs = Has a great goalie and plays sound defense
Relied heavily on Price throughout the year, since offense was lacking.
Habs run into a team with equal or better goaltending. Fails to score because of poopty offense.
Is that a little easier?
See St.louis playoffs for past 3 yrs. |

Sharp should be available and not crazy expensive. He would be a good fit in Montreal. imo. |

Where are all those experts that said the Habs were over-rated and had a good goalie and not much else?
Oh ya, admitting they were right. |

They have quantity to deal from, not quality. If the right trading partner needs enough pieces then they might be able to do something of substance |
