Somebody needs to pass the mop in JBC's thread.

i think my favourite part of the game was the third period PP. forget who the dman was but he crosses center ice and dumps it in and literally all 4 players are standing still on the blue line as he dumps it in. it looks like they've never practiced a power play. - DoubleDown
I enjoyed the tail end of that PP when they were passing it around the zone, cycled it behind the net and then Gallagher rang it around the boards to nobody in particular at the point, and it went all the way down into Montreal's zone. That was pretty sweet. |

At what point does Bishop stop getting the benefit of the doubt? Gallagher's never had it and he's done far less than Bishop has...
And I hope the NHL is pleased with its dumb rule changes that allows a goalie to play the puck and forces a guy to stop shy of that goalie and can't do anything to said goalie for fear of taking a penalty... - number_23
That cross check in the face he got was just ridiculous. Martin McGuire said that Gallagher wears marks on his face of his trips to the front of the net. I'd strip the little girl of his "A" and give it to him. |

Is there a team more allergic to scoring goals in the playoffs than Montreal? I know the Rangers are awful too, but are they getting more chances? Seems Montreal gets plenty of chances and then trips over their own Richard. - 3M
their chances aren't very high quality... that's the problem. it's not that guys like Bishop and Anderson are so unbeatable. Anderson loses his starting job jsut about every year because he's not that good. Bishop is good but he shouldn't be stopping 97% of the shots. |

its simple: the league protects goalies. Price gets the same benefit. we've seen some pretty ridiculous goals called back against us. it's why Bishop can flop around all he wants, and it's why a guy like Gallagher who is constantly crashing the crease will get the book thrown at him. |

he is Max Pacioretty. dynamite scorer in the regular season but doesn't play dirty enough to contribute in the playoffs. |

that guy is (frank)ing terrible.
saw him go off for a line change at some point, he was strolling to the bench like it's the free skate at the park n Sunday morning meanwhile you have some other bumhole one leg over the boards waiting to get on. |

I literally cancelled the planned recording of the game tonight. Can't bring myself to watch these scrotum warts meander around and not score goals anymore.
At what point does someone realize that coaching is a problem here? Yeah, MT is playing the cards he's dealt, and yes his team finished 2nd overall...but successful coaches get fired when successful teams start sucking Richard. This edition of the Canadiens is one of those teams. |
