Seriously though....I would strongly consider trading Rick Nash at this point. His ineffectiveness has cost you probably a cup and this years early exit, IMO
- GOA88

Nash is a huge problem but it goes beyond him. Look at Tampa, Stamkos has one goal this year, but they are one game away from sweeping Montreal and advancing to the conference finals.

They have players that can bail out the so-called go to scorer; the Rangers don't have anyone to rely on, offensively speaking, aside from Brassard. The Rangers are made up of good regular season forwards and that's where it ends.

I don't know Bo, he is usually a decent guy on here. Jokes around and talks hockey. Probably should have just given him a warning.

Now I definitely want you as our ref.

No, just pointing out how silly you look trying to clown us when the team you root for was an absolute joke this season.
- MidnightMarauder

Well, we have 2 first round picks and nowhere to go but up. The Rags, on the other hand......

I am well aware of the Flyers stinking up the ice. As a Flyers fan I get great joy seeing the Rangers fail, as you would with the Flyers failings. Eat it and live with it. Its called a rivalry.

Honestly the linchpin in all of this is probably Zuccarellos health.

If over the course of the next two months, Zucs doesnt progress from what is rumored to be a really nasty concussion, I would be dollars to donuts MSL is brought back to fill that void and they LTIR Zucs until they figure out what to do when he is healthy enough to return

- FourFeathers773

This, and how he has looked all season, is why McDonagh has entered the sh!t list.

That up is going to take quite some time though. And where are the Rangers done anytime soon?

It's too bad I can't gloat over a Flyers playoff loss this year and likely another two or three more seasons.

Whatever has to be done, do it, a guy like him with a winning pedigree will make a huge difference with this group of playoff chumps.

I don't know, people get riled up so easily sometimes. Maybe its all the brain cells I lost in my late teens & twenties but most trolls don't bother me at all. Just ignore them if you don't like what they are saying. Its usually just a hit & run anyway.

Yet....both teams failed to win the cup. So it really doesnt matter you made the playoffs.

McDonagh took a poorly aimed slap shot that hit Zuccarello in the side of the head; leading to his concussion.

McDonagh's also largely to blame for Hank's injury as well. The puck, a Hurricane player shot, hit Hank in the throat because McDonagh's stick got caught, under Hank's mask, and lifted it enough to where his neck was exposed.

His overall play has tailed off significantly, from last season, it's not just the fluke injuries, to his teammates, that he was involved in.

Oh look who it is. The guy who guaranteed the Islanders would be a lottery team and the Flyers a playoff team this past season. You were pretty passionate about that in November remember?

Seems to me the flyers organization have been going upwards for 40 years now, must be a very slow elevator?

Naturally, we all tend to lose it when other fans gloat about your team's failures. It's funny because how dare us Rangers fans ever have anything to say, to other fans, because nobody else does that in here, right?

Not sure who you are referring too but I can't relate to anyone who roots for more than one hockey team.

Yep, the Rangers finishing with the best record in hockey and have many players in the early-mid 20's is on the decline.

But a team with a defense filled with no names and RJ Umberger, on the second line, is close to being a serious contender.

Got it.
