Gleason in the last game of the season was punching Sheppard in the face with his glove off while Sheppard was being held by another player. He was the one guy on the Caps that I would hope would get lit up and Glass did it last night.

- mdw7413

Yeah he beat the poop out of him it was awesome. Hopefully he can do that to wilson, brouwer, and chimera too! Lol. Amazing how the caps aren't playing anywhere near the physical game they were with us. I think Trotz is a jackass but he's doing one helluva job coaching these guys and adjusting his plan.

blah blah blah blah blah

I think that Chris Kreider is far and away a better player than anyone else from the 2009 NHL Entry Draft because the has the most playoff goals since then. Do you agree?

- jmatchett383

yeah, pffffft, playoffs, who cares about playoffs anyway

So you leave out 2006 because that's the year the Flyers got Giroux at 22 and the Rangers got Bobby Sanguenetti at 21?

And since then the Rangers have got one very good player in the draft, Stepan. The rest are nothing special or have left the team like MDZ and Duclair. How's the Dylan McIlrath pick working out for you guys, by the way? New York doesn't miss having Fowler or Tarasenko at all right now, I'm sure.

- Feanor

no mention of Kreider here

Can't argue that. Trotz is a top notch coach.

The guy who was 9th in Selke voting at 20 years old is "a little better skilled version of Dom Moore?" Damn, I didn't know how great of a player Dom Moore was at 20.
- jmatchett383

Oh my 9th in Selke voting??? I can't believe how awesome that is!! That's like seeing a bunch of strippers lined up with one of the them having a 3rd eyeball...and your the one awarded the one with a 3rd eye. Congrats

last year in the first round vs the Flyers, Couturier had zero points and zero assists in 7 games

playoffs dont matter though

Agreed. Kreider is a better player than Tavares and Hedman because playoff goals are the only true measure of a player.

They don't. Stanley Cups matter. Which is why, if my team won't win a Cup, I'd rather not make the playoffs, save my money, have my team get a higher pick, and try to build a team with the first chance to win a Stanley Cup in decades. But if your goal every year is just to make the playoffs, then I guess the Rangers are the true champions of hockey.

The Oilers were about as poorly run as the Flyers were under Holmgren. With a new GM, both franchises are probably heading for a better direction with a chance to contend in in 3-5 years.

Still waiting to know who John is.

my sentence made perfect sense.

But, usually when somebody has lost the argument they retreat to being the grammar or sentence structure police, thanks for that

No, I know what you meant, but your structure was incorrect. It would be versus the Rangers. See below:

Last year in the first round vs the Rangers, Rick Nash blew.

That being said, (frank) the Rangers.

How can a Flyers fan possibly talk trash to a team that actually made the playoffs; let alone won their division and had the best record during the regular season?

Slow day discussing Flyers at the World Championships or how your poor prospect pool is looking lately, huh?

- MidnightMarauder

They can't, and I apologize for the stupidity.

last year, in the first round between the Rangers and the Flyers, Chris Kreider didn't play any one of the 7 games, and still had the same amount of points as Couturier did in the series. And, the Flyers used an 8th overall pick on Couturier.

How about the structure of these sentences?

Makes perfect sense.

last year, in the first round between the Rangers and the Flyers, Jay Rosehill didn't play any one of the 7 games, and still had the same amount of points as Kreider did in the series. And, the Rangers used an 19th overall pick on Kreider.

Wanna go another round? Unlike the Rangers?

I thought they already did arrest him. That's some Jese Boulerice stuff right there, that's straight-up assault. Apparently, they got into it in a prior game, but damn that was out of control.
