Makes perfect sense.

last year, in the first round between the Rangers and the Flyers, Jay Rosehill didn't play any one of the 7 games, and still had the same amount of points as Kreider did in the series. And, the Rangers used an 19th overall pick on Kreider.

Wanna go another round? Unlike the Rangers?

How many rounds did the Flyers play this postseason? Refresh the old memory...

Remember this guy? Jesus Christ man... they put a warrant out to arrest him.

Any idea what happened in the previous game to provoke that?

Deveaux got checked by the guy from behind and got knocked out. From Wikipedia:

On March 26, during a game between VIK Västerås HK and Rögle BK, Per Helmersson checked Andre Deveaux into the boards, resulting in Deveaux losing consciousness. At the following game, Deveaux attacked VIK Västerås HK defenseman Per Helmersson from behind during the warmups for a game between VIK Västerås and Rögle BK in Swedish league HockeyAllsvenskan. On March 30, after video of the incident was posted on Youtube, Rögle terminated Deveaux's contract for next season. Swedish prosecutors subsequently issued an arrest warrant for Deveaux in response to the incident.

None at all. I thought you'd remember that, it's only been less than a month since the regular season ended.

Ek has a pic of some guy nominated for the Jack Adams award on the main page. Where did he come from? Flyers could probably use a coach like that after their disappointing season.

Thanks.

Will be curious to see how Swedish law handles this.

His name is Peter Laviolette. He used to be the Flyers coach, and led them to a Stanley Cup final in 2010. He also led the Carolina Hurricanes to a Stanley Cup in 2006. He was fired after missing the playofss in 2013 and getting the Flyers off to a 0-3 start the following year. You can read all about his accolades on his Wikipedia page.

http://www.sportsnet.ca/h...-friday-press-conference/

"Professional hockey player André Deveaux will be speaking to media for the first time about recent events that occurred during the Swedish Hockey League playoffs.

Deveaux will be providing surprising new video evidence of injuries that were flagrantly ignored by Swedish hockey league officials."

So apparently, he's still not under arrest??? Not really an answer, but interesting.

Kinda wish they were eliminated already. Get the gong show over with and let's talk about Tambelini making the team possibly. Or Players that might believable after pick 55.

Hey, you guys were down and counted out last year at 3-1 in Round 2. Every game has been a 1-goal game. It doesn't look likely, but you bastards have ruined my day enough times to know to never count them out.

It's a public forum I guess, as much as that sucks. Unfortunately, I think it is an avenue for most people to come in and talk to the several/dozens of people that they want to talk to, and there is just too much noise that has gotten in the way of that. Nature of the beast I guess, and unless there can be something done to remedy that.

do you think the overall Ranger attack has suffered without Talbot's puck handling ability to get the flow going at all?

I am trying not to get caught up with all the comments. Hard enough writing the blogs these days to get mixed up in the bash sessions.

Yes, we need to bench Hank for Talbot (sarcasm dripping). Lundqvist has gotten better in that regard and we are grasping at straws now.
