That's fine, but I am still gonna cheer my butt off and hope he does. Cause what's the point of loving a team if I give up on them. I just can't do that. - TPC
I'm not telling you can't. I wish I could be like that. |

I don't know what else to say. This team got to a final last year with Nash not scoring. Its magnified now bc he isn't scoring and the team is down 3-1 after a season that he scored 42 goals. I get the venom. He does have other players around him too, he has least been a part of most of the goals they have scored which is a lot more than most of the other guys. I'm not absolving him, he does need to do more. Stepan has been terrible, Kreider needs to do more and McDonagh is my personal favorite on the team He played a big part in two of the winning goals scored against the Rangers. For all the talk about Nash, and it pains me to say this, McDonagh has had a terrible series, much worse than Nash has... |

See Vin, you're equating effort, heart, balls and guts to execution and breaks. Nash took a shot last night that was deflected twice and squeaked by the post. If that works out for him then the team probably wins, and if it did does that make the team more gutsy, or ballsy or resilient? They haven't executed, its got nothing to do with effort. You don't think they played their asses off last night? - Blueshirts4ever
I thought they were better in game 3, didn't get a shot on goal in the final 4 minutes, determination gets something in that time, Caps didn't get 4 minutes of breaks, they probably don't deserve To be down 3-1 but that's not our problem, contenders find a way to win |

You know what drives me crazy? Blowing those two goal leads in the finals last year, and losing all those OT games. It's just so hard to get there, that once you have that opportunity, you need to seize the day.
But the past is the past, and now is now.

Sorry Pete but no one wants to hold them accountable, the taste of this year won't go away for a long time, I appreciate your ability to stay focused but this team doesn't have a shot in hell of coming back maybe if they scored 2 goals a game - KreiderBomb
Crazy. 4 guys have multiple goals. Only 9 guys have scored at least once. They have scored 16 goals, 31% by Brassard. |

this team has no killer instinct. why did they even pull lundqvist last night? i've never seen a team show such lack of urgency with 6 attackers as i did in the final 90 seconds of last night's game. it's like they pulled the goalie and played as if they were scared to give up an empty net goal. |

I was thinking about that last night. Every year it seems like this teams does things that are out of the ordinary. Since Torts the Rangers were almost automatic when going into the 3rd period with a lead. Last year in the finals. They blew 3 games like that. This year they scored at will, now they can't hit water while standing at it's edge. |

Thats a lack of execution IMO. They lost the faceoff right out of the timeout. Didn't get a sniff. They tried, they threw their bodies at pucks, and all that. They came up short, they haven't been good enough, but I wouldn't say they are heartless. I understand everyone is pissed off. Tomorrow at this time, believe it or not some hope will be restored. Why? Because its sports, who knows what happens tomorrow. Maybe the Rangers win and Holtby pulls a groin. Maybe, Nash gets a hat trick and catches fire. Maybe Hank pitches a shutout. You never know. |

Someone said it last night, the Rangers need to try quicker shots. One timers would be great. The players at the point almost wait for the defenders to get in the lane. Pass shouldn't even come up in their minds anymore |
