Also, lets not talk like this team is dead. Didn't like it when people did it to the Pens last round and now us this round. We have all summer to talk about this poop.
I am more confident in this team winning 3 games in a row than anyone else. We went on too many winning streaks against good teams that I really believe we can do it again.
Crazy thought now? Bourque in for Sheppard. Just to get a shot in the arm like a back-up goalie would. Thoughts? |

We are talking about the game and this season, not sure why it's infuriating you. - znagle
it's just funny that the mods of this site are so anti-Ranger they fail to see you guys are purposely trying to get us to say something in response to your posts that will get us banned, and they literally do nothing about it |

Bourque in for Stepan at this point. |

Turn the other cheek, this guy always comes in here to start, pretends he doesn't and then responds to those that are annoyed, by him, like he didn't do anything wrong. |

Ryan Callahan has zero goals and 3 assists in 14 playoff games with Tampa. - jimbro83
St Louis has 3a in 9 playoff games this year. Last year he had good stats, but the difference isn't worth 2 firsts and Callahan who brings a more polished all around game than St. Louis especially if the Rags fail to win a Cup. |

I thought Nash played well the last two games. There are plenty of other players to point fingers at. For one, the last two playoffs (I know he was hurt last year) McDonough has been mediocre. Also I don't know, maybe just for faceoffs purposes, but why is Dominic Moore on the ice when you are down one facing a 3-1 deficit? - Flyers1218
Not a Nash fan, but I think he's been solid also. Sometimes playing well/hard doesn't translate to the puck going in the net, and when you are expected to score and don't then you get the criticism (we've been there with Ovechkin so many times). |

I've only seen a mod say something once in our forum and that is when the playoff matchups came out this year. I'd be shocked if anyone has actually been banned on our forum. |

I forgot what it took to get St. Louis.. I would rather have Cally still if I were the Rangers. That Boyle deal is killer.. Would you guys be interested in Scuderi? - znagle
Can I pick option C and neither? I can't decide what is worse. Giving up 2 first rounders or having that insane Callahan contract on the books. (probably the later to be honest). We could have the cap space, and those picks back. That's what I'd want....
But doesn't matter yet. At this point last year St. Louis was being booed off the ice and then look what happened. Maybe the guy flips a switch. For now, he is a Ranger and gotta hope he turns it around. I point the finger at him much much more than Nash, who looks good in everything but putting the puck in the net and has been on the ice for what? like 40% of our goals....
Look at TB. Stamkos does poop round 1 and the supporting cast fills the void. Our supporting cast has done poop. I blame the puck that hit Zucc in the head for that . |

I am not. I agree 100%, I thought that you thought we paid that for a pure rental, when we have him next year too at a good salary, that's all. - mrhattrick27
Apart from paying high you did get some back by having the Yotes pay half his salary! Not sure how that was achieved but it was great work. I think they're paying 2 salaries now that aren't on their team - which is supposed to be a budget team! |

Rangers got a second round pick back. The original deal was St. Louis for Callahan and a first. The second pick kicked in only if the Rangers advanced to the Cup finals.
The deal looks bad now but not entirely because Callahan is nothing more than an average forward, with injury issues, and they already traded one of those picks away in last year's draft. |

According to Sather it was the first thing discussed. Called Maloney and said "I want Yandle but you have to take half his salary"
Part of the price paid was "trading" for that $2.5M in cap space which is vital. |

Wrong. 2 Firsts. And we got the 2nd back. Two first rounders is what makes that so hard to swallow.
And the deal looks bad. Why did we HAVE to have one of Cally or MSL. Why not option C. Cap space AND the picks... |

If I could change this site in anyway. There would be no such thing as "mods". There are no mods at the bar, or in life. Just deal with the banter. |

2 first rounders = young ELC guys.. I put more of the blame on Nash, guy is a ghost when the playoffs start. And Tampa is loaded with cheaper guys. First round picks are vital to success when you have high cap players (ask how I know)

Yup, I get where the Nash anger is coming from, but holy crap it gets old. Same poop every game, its all Nash's fault. Apparently every other forward on this team is exempt from scoring goals.
Brass is the only forward who should be getting no criticism. |

I see no evidence of that. I rarely see refs anyway, unless it's MON thread. Say price let in some weak goals and you're banned for the day. |
