That goes without saying.
He's a 3rd line winger at best - habs12
If that the case, our top 6 would be the best in the league. |

If DD is a 3rd line winger, Eller is a 6th pairing dman. |

Actually it shows that we don't have a 1st line center |

Which is kind of the Koivu point. I don't think that DD is on the same level as Koivu but they were thrown into similar roles. |

I'll admit he's been better since they attached the crazy carpet to his ass |

Koivu was light years ahead of DD on every level.
Koivu was driven out by the french press and some equally ignorant fans |

I defended DD enough. At first I was all alone. Then some realized he's not that bad. He works his ass off most every night and is our best play maker.

Yeah, Koivu was far better than DD for taking hooking penalties in the offensive zone. |

Lack of wingers and other factors hurt. I honestly don't think he gave a rats ass about the french press to be honest. He wasn't offered a contract and as much as I loved him as a player, it was time for him to move on. |

I (frank)ing hated Koivu.
And I realize it's probably the same irrational reason why a lot of fans hate Desharnais. But at least the Habs are winning now, whereas the reason why I hated koivu was probably that I saw him as the symbol of a disastrous organization/decade. |
