i think for doing nothing to upgrade the offence in 3 years. not saying he's done a bad job, just that it's a valid criticism of him.

Totally agree.

One of the big moves that he needs to pull this summer is get a qualified PP specialist behind the bench to help Therrien.

Are either of those guys scouts? Cause Maverick not only played the game but scouted for many years as well

Loved the Petry addition but did not like the DSP trade. It would be interesting to hear if Bergevin tried to obtain both Petry and Eberle from Edmonton. Not sure if it would of made a huge difference but I would think that most fans wanted a more skilled forward as opposed to Smith Pelly

So far? no...but if he doesn't react after the offensive debacle these playoffs were...then yes.

Maybe he's aware the habs aren't ready to compete for the cup and he prefers to be patient, draft and develop.

You can't really expect to draft top line talent year in year out in the 25-30 range neither. He will need to make a trade this summer. And i believe that #27 development will continue by playing him down the middle. A guy like Williams or heck even MSL would help help him to gain confidence and build on it moving on.

He has one more year left before becoming UFA and Lindholm look to be their future top center. I think Staal is more affordable then ever in the end it all depends if he agrees to part ways with the Canes.

St. Louis will never sign in Montreal, and he slowed down considerably. Also, I wouldn't be shocked to see him retire if the Rangers don't sign him to an extension.
