Oilers out on O Connor

Looks like the Sens got it done. Good chance Lehner will be dealt by the draft.

Lehner likely traded and Hammond not very likely to sign.

Nice signing to get O'Connor. I doubt this has any repercussions regarding Andy, Hammond, and Lehner. O'Connor simply adds depth to the goaltending position. With Hammond most likely walking, O'Connor could very well be the #1 in Bingo next season. All indications it looks like he is very open to "working through the system". Stick with Andy and Lehner at the NHL level, unless you get a deal that significantly improves this team now.

Good news on signing O'Connor!

I expect the Senators are now dangling Lehner to see what the return might be for him. If they get a good offer they could move him and sign Hammond to be the backup next season.

If the offers are not good enough they keep the status quo of Anderson and Lehner.

If I had to bet on it I would say Lehner will not be an Ottawa Senator next season.

All but Methot are U25.... when they all hit their peak at 28-30, they will be the envy of the league... who has a better young T6-7 than Ottawa that are U25??

Dude Cowen is bad and most sens fans wanted Weirchoch moved at the deadline, now they're going to help make up a d core that's going to be the envy of the league. Karlsson is amazing and Ceci has potential to be a good top 4 dman. You guys have a good run and all of sudden everyone's supposed to be jealous of the Sens.

Cowen will be a good defenseman ,just i dont believe it will be here .He is a physical shut down defender that really hasnt developed, due to our lack of quality on ice veteran support .His one good season came when he was paired with Gonchar ,the rest have been with kids younger than him .Ceci looks a little over his head due to the same issue ,we must find a way to get a decent vet to play on the second pairing before people start to turn on Ceci
