Feel the same, especially with Girgs. He looks like he could settle into a 55-60 pt a year guy, with the compete level and leadership of a future captain.

The money that O'Reilly is rumored to want could be better spent elsewhere.

But if TM trades for the guy - I'm not going to lie - I will be excited.

Girgensons has shown the skill to score, but I'd be surprised if he hits those point totals unless he moves to a top6 wing position.
It's just gonna be tough with 3rd line icetime, as well as (presumably) being in a defensive specialist type role.
I'm thinking 15goals and around 40pts might be a a better guess

I honestly think Girgensons finds his home on the wing in the top 6 in a year or two

Personally, I think the kid plays the game the right way, and he would be a great addition. I just hope his salary demands don't throw the entire team out of whack.

I have no problem getting him as long as it's not a massive overpay and they extend him

this team needs to upgrade the top 6 up front and top 4 d men (4 bodies total)
