That's the thing. The Rangers are on nice run of elimination games at home. Can that continue forever? All streaks eventually end. Hopefully this one doesn't for a few more years lol

Game 7 will be a coin toss. I'm already nervous as frank. Only gonna get worse with each day.

Yea I really didn't sleep at all. Although i think that had more to do with it being like 90 degrees in my room lol

And you know that Game 7 is going to be another heart attack. I think it will be yet another toss up type game. Maybe the Rangers have the slight advantage by being at home, but I am not overly confident to be honest. See another 50/50 type game, which will be decided late.

Of course. I think I'm going to take an Ambien before game 7.

One thing that I really respect about AV's ranger teams is that they don't get involved in any crap after the whistle or poop talk after the games. No bulletin board material!

I guess Ovi has to do it since he needs to instill some confidence in his team going to MSG for game 7, but man, does he really want the Blue Shirts to have even more of a reason to come flying out of the gates like in game 6? Don't get that mentality.

Anyone notice that some of the Rangers biggest whipping boys throughout the season are playing some really good hockey lately. Just goes to show that you can change the views that people have of you if you are productive, and the fans are willing to let you. Still some of the story that remains the be written.

I totally understand the guaranty.

Not sure why he had to call the Rangers soft. There doesn't seem to be too much of a purpose for that, and I think could be counterproductive if the team follows that lead. Do the Caps really want to be running all over the ice running Rangers in Game 7? Could get beat in transition if you do that.

Dan Boyle has more goals in the playoffs than Anton Stralman does, and the Rangers are the best defensive team in the playoffs giving up the lowest amount of goals overall.

I think he has been o.k. the last couple, just nowhere near what the Rangers paid for this season.

I think Glass has been damn good lately though.

He's just fighting it.

Boyle has been our best defenseman offensively by far. He's been damn good defensively too. He looks faster when in a foot race back to our zone than he was in the regular season and he wants the puck and he wants to make a play.

Glass has been great for us this postseason. 4th line gonna bury in game 7.

No one! To be honest, I am quite surprised how good he has been. I think he has been just as good as I could have expected from Dorsett or someone equivalent, which is all I can really ask for.

No problem w/ guarantee. I get that!

It's funny how NYR is called soft. They aren't anywhere as big as the Caps, but to say they are soft is hilarious. A team that consistently comes back from defeat is far from soft. I remember not too long ago J. Thornton called NYR soft and Torts flipped out on him

Keep beating up on us and see what happens!!!

I see people comparing it to Messiers, which I find hysterical because when you've won 5 cups you can make a statement like, or at least make a conference final...ovechkin has done neither. I think that's bulletin board material without a doubt. Post it in every player locker, on the water bottles, everywhere

If its not for Holtby he might have a few points even. I have a feeling someone on the 4th line is going to score an immense goal Wednesday night. The Rangers bench would explode if it were to be Glass. His teammates love him and you probably don't have to look any further than that as to why when the Rangers are at full health that TG plays over Sheppard.

Here is the exact quote. He doesn't use the word "soft", but that is the way I read the quote. The Rangers fade when you get the puck in deep and starting hitting? We shall see I guess.

“We’re going to come back and win the series,” Ovechkin said. He also said, “We have to play that way. You can see they don’t want to play that game. We knew that. As soon as we put the puck deep and hit their D they fade because we’re big and strong. You see how we score goals. We put bodies in front of Lundqvist and it goes in.” - See more at: http://rangers.lohudblogs...w-2/#sthash.HttsAq1t.dpuf

Its just bluster. He is trying to hang onto anything thats positive. If thats the way to beat Hank and the Rangers then why wait until the last 15 minutes of game 6? If the Rangers are soft, then explain how they had the guts to come back and tie Game 5 with 1:47 left? Its all talk, then you have Kuznetsov saying Holtby is better than Lundqvist. Now thats his teammate, I get it, but still, just keep your mouth shut. The Rangers will internalize it all and use it to their advantage.

Kuznetsov publicly stating Holtby is better than Lundqvist which is why they will Game 7. There are not enough memes to capture the asinine nature of this statement.
