I really hope the refs just let them play game 7, unless its a blatant penalty. I have actually thought the ref's have not been bad at all this series. They have made some mistakes but overall they haven't been bad.
Yeah the McDonagh hit was perfectly clean. Thats what happens when you get hit by 240lbs of steel at 25 mph. - mdw7413

Are you guys pulling for Tampa or Montreal (i.e. who do you view as the more favorable opponent for the Rangers) ? - MadCap2008
I think it Montreal is probably the more favorable opponent, but not by much. I am going to cheer for Montreal tomorrow to get the series to 7 games, just because I think that would be compelling, and whoever is there in the semi for either of our teams, so be it.
We haven't gotten the upset out West, however, so the final will be a female dog whoever is fortunate enough to get there.

I don't think Yandle's been bad. I just don't think he's been great. - rangerdanger94
Guys like Yandle are always known for (frank)ing up never anything positive. Granted he hasn't done much positive. But Boyle is a perfect example, he's scored 2 huge goals this series and you still see the hate he gets. I think 99% of the fan base forget already he scored the 2-0 goal in game 2 |

IMO, complaints about that hit are really the wussification of hockey. That was just a good, hard hit. |

I'm sure opinions vary. I would like to play Montreal. I don't want all the ex Rangers playing great to stick it up the ass of their former team. |

I guess the thing with Montreal is that you worry about Price stealing games, or even a series. I suppose either fanbase will be happy with whatever opponent at this point as long as they live to see the ECF. Sort of wonder how anyone in the East is going to fare against the West - Chicago, and Anaheim to an even greater degree, have sort of breezed through the 1st two rounds. Hopefully they will beat each other up in a long WCF. |

Yup.
Kept his hands down, skated into Mcdonagh. Nothing wrong with that hit at all. |

How bout Corey Perry last night? Looks like a broken fibula, writhing in pain, hops of the ice, comes back two minutes later...score OT winner. Unreal player that guy |

Yea that was insane too.
But for Mac to come back and player over 2 minutes of the final 3 after that hit is just as impressive to me. |

These are things that linger as games go on. I'm sure you'll hear after playoffs that Mac needs procedure or something. Brassard too, looked like a bicep, wrist or elbow problem last night. NHL players are warriors and there is no one tougher on the planet |
