I also question the Gringo link. If anything Roy might know more than anyone that this guy is at best a questionable prospect. I'd really have to give up Z but I know you have to give to get. - Slump Buster
Z for that pos? (frank) that. Let's deplete our talent on D even farther for some dippoop (frank)tard at a position of strength.

Your hate for a guy that wants to make the most money possible is incredible. - dadeadhead
And the best part about it is that it's him and only him.
I've explained my hate for him numerous times. But to sum it up, I don't think he's a good fit for this team at the price tag he will be traded for and the price tag he might, or (frank), might not be signed for afterwards. This team should be targetting a real scorer and not another Jason Pominville. He does fit the age bracket and if he was a free agent and could be had for 5.5. million, I'd say what the (frank) ever, but that's not the case at all. His contract makes him a garbage high risk acquisition. Ya know, the kid might actually be a decent guy. Good for him. Stay the (frank) out of Buffalo and don't ruin our prospect/defense system and our salary cap.

You've never asked for a raise or looked for better higher paying job in your life? - dadeadhead
I don't personally blame him for wanting to rip teams off. Granted major league athletes function a little differently than us making another 2 bucks an hour. But that isn't why I don't want him here.

2 bucks an hr is a $4160 pay increase which is an 8% raise on the US median income.
That would work out to ROR getting a 480k increase.
Which is right in line of what ROR will probably get on his next deal (6.5 cap hit).

Let it go, he's one of Murray's targets. - SABRES 89
Would you take him over Kessel? I'm still skeptical that there is anyone that we could get that would be better than ROR or Kessel. Kessel has a ton of flaws but the production can't be denied.

ROR over Kessel.
IMO Murray feels the same way.
I believe he said or it was reported he said earlier in the season he wished Eichel was Canadian.

Yes I would take him over Kessel and his horrible contract
