I think it's been that all along. Nobody wants to inherit Toronto's roster right now, if they were in better shape roster and talent wise (along with the 2nd overall pick) they would probably be top consideration. Detroit isn't going to pony up the $$ that Buffalo is so I can see Holland telling him here is what we are offering to give you, if not good luck in Buffalo.

When does Babcock think his system gets stale in Detroit? He has already been there 10 years, not to mention more money in Buffao, now that wife has to agree. Many of the very good, great coaches have to move on.
