IMO Tyler Ennis is a 60-70 point player on a competent team. Just not on the Sabres

I think he is going back to Ken Holland and telling him what the offers are for his services. He will circle back with the Red Wings to see if they will match/get close to the offer that appeals to him the most (Sabres?). He then goes home and tells his wife/family that they can have the status quo in Detroit for "X" and the opportunity to make (likely) significantly more $$ cash in "Y". Apparently one of his stated goals is to raise the salary bar for all coaches. He would certainly accomplish this if he chose the Sabres or Leafs. Of course, if Mr Ilitch decides to open the vaults and match (or come close), I think this was all for naught - just a smart negotiation ploy by Babcock.

My prediction - Buffalo. The Pegula's seem to get what they want when they put their mind (and resources) to it. Now if it doesn't happen, life goes on. I am sure that GMTM has a Plan B and C. He will have to act fairly quickly because it seems like there is lots of movement going on in terms of hiring coaches. Ya snooze ya lose!

i'll answer with this, he would not be out of place in a top-six role on any team...in fact I'd go as far to say that if he were #2 center on the Chicago blackhawks, not only would he be able to hold the fort, he'd thrive because of the talent surrounding him
