I dunno, if any GM doesn't know what Babcock brings, what sport has he been working in?
Puck possession, defense, subtle clutching and grabbing, work the refs like a champ, repeat as necessary.
Guy's a great coach for sure but it's also not like there aren't a few others out there. Also hasn't hurt to have Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Lidstrom.

with Babcock it's not just about the style that he instills in a team. he hardly invented puck possession and defence. what seems to separate MB from the rest is his preparedness. it's something that seems to often be overlooked when anyone questions the hype around him. when players talk about Babcock, the first thing they mention is how he is better prepared than any coach they have ever played for, and he prepares his team better than any other coach. |

This whole Babcock to San Jose is a joke. Doug Wilson is a loser gm who will prove once again he cannot deliver or get the job done. No way Babcock signs with SJ, Wilson already has the excuses ready too believe me. When it comes to making good moves or making good excuses Wilson is an expert at one and that is not the one about making good moves. |

Half these guys aren't Garbage. Grossman had a great season. I believe he had a career year in terms of points and was a +6 on a minus team, exactly what you want from a Defensive Dman. Amac is overpaid but is still a quality Top 4 guy and Luke Schenn is a medicore Dman he plays OK but his skill is overshadowed by the bad trade that Landed him here. The rest are garbage. |

Half these guys aren't Garbage. Grossman had a great season. I believe he had a career year in terms of points and was a +6 on a minus team, exactly what you want from a Defensive Dman.
