I wanted him in Buffalo too but I have loved everything that Murry has done thus far and I feel like we are very close to the team that he wanted here. I would worry that if Babcock came in with full control that he would basically want to gut half or part of the team again to bring in his type guys.

All along I cared less about getting Babcock than how bad the Sabres would come off if they aggressively pursued him and he didn't come. The worse case scenario is he turns us down for the Leafs.
