Toronto has nothing on the ice or in the pipeline that is more appealing at this point, and babcock will go to toronto, coach them up and out of lottery contention with a roster that underachieved.

Yeah, except in todays nhl you almost have to be in the top 5 of the draft multiple times to get the best players. He wont be coaching them to the bottom 5.

If this is his first step in a new direction for his life (career) after coaching then good for him making the decision he needed to make.

I am on board with you.
Now, I am kind of OK with him not coming to Buffalo.
He just wanted power.
I don't know if he really wanted a team that has lots of upside and potentials, rather fall for the same crap that all of the other coaches have in Toronto!!
