If you're going to be upset with someone, be upset with your GM, who didn't give him the kind of offer he was looking for. Dollar figures and term are supposedly equal, or greater on the Buffalo end. And after taxes and living expenses he's taking less in TO.

This happens in everyday life all the time. If i found a job that paid more money, I would come back to my current employer and say match this and i'll stay.

If they were to match it I would call and let the job know that they matched and see if they offered anything else.

Could it be that "GM Grumpy Cat," as you have referred to him as, has a plan he wants to follow and giving up some control to someone else may not fit into that plan? I'm glad that Murray stuck to his guns. He won't be pushed around. If you were in a position of power, would you want to relinquish any of it to someone else? Because honestly, most people don't want to do things like that.

No forget that egotistical frank Babcock he's all yours. We already have a GM just need a coach. If that's not enough for him well se ya later then. I can't wait until the media tears into him with their lofty expectations. well seeing that toronto year after year is a tire fire we get to see his true ability. What is everyones problem with bylsma. He's a good coach and proved when crosby was injured for that long stretch.
