i go to buffalo every year for a game. even non leaf games. great atmosphere and i love how even if it's 2 US teams playing, they still play the Canadian anthem.

Anchor bar wings, and la nova pizza are top shelf.

wierd thing is how downtown buffalo is a ghost town in some areas. one year i got there, stores were all boarded up..couldn't find a single person for like 10 minutes to ask for directions.

As far as downtown its changing big time. 15 years ago after 5pm it was literally a ghost down. The politicians screwed things up years ago and they are finally getting around to fixing the culture. You should really come down this summer for a non hockey visit. You won't believe it. I don't believe it.

Cool man. There have been so many new bars, breweries and restaurants open the last few years and I've barley gotten to check any of them out because I've had 2 kids in the last 2.5 years. I'm not cool people anymore.
