I hope Chia-Pet pulls a Seguin and gives Hall away for dog scraps.
Chia-Pet doesn't need to give away Hall (but yes it would be funny to watch).
He should offer sheet Dougie Hamilton and/or quietly offer the Bruins a deal for Hamilton to avoid the offer sheet. Wouldn't need to include Hall.
Then trade for Phaneuf - wouldn't have to give up too much there either - and wouldn't have to wait for the young defenders to develop.

I'd love to get Hitchcock here.
Call me crazy, but I think he'd be good for Toronto's young players.
The Flyers fans hated him because they felt he didn't develop the young guys, but I think he did pretty well with the Carters and Richards of that team.
He seems to grasp that you have to treat players differently now that they are all making millions, but can still be a hard ass at times.
