Because the Leafs signing a new coach (and possibly Associate Executive Sub-VP of Hockey Operations Involving Hockey Players and Hockey Equipment (Shoulder Pads Excluded)) is much bigger news and far more exciting than whatever meaningless games they are playing now.

a lot of people on here ALWAYS downplayed Babcock coming here like they actually knew what the (frank) was going on, or acted like they knew him personally.

Always gotta keep an open mind, because anything is possible, and anything can happen.
