poop happens. i guess daryl sutter is a bad coach eh...i mean LA only won 2 cups in last 3 years, but man they missed the playoffs this year.
you have to be trolling. no way you have stats ready like you do and then make claims like Mike Richards is the number 1 centre we needed; trade our pick (it was like February dude) for Eric Staal etc. No way. - clark_griswold
All I'm trying to say is: Mike Babcock is not the best coach in the league. |

this guy and JFJ.
If they leafs do every win the cup, these guys couldn't even celebrate. I wouldn't let them.
The poop on everything the leafs do. They'd find something wrong with a cup win. - Lee Denault
i don't get it. i get the past frustration (I'm the poster boy) but:
we finally have a rebuild
we have the best coach in hockey for 8 years
we have a long term plan in place for once
we have our draft pick for once, and it's a damn good one
i'm confused how this is bad, considering the last 10 years? |

You only won one cup and then lost in the 2nd round three years in a row after that? Way to not build a team that can sustain success, what a (frank)ing joke. Leafs suck.

well....the numbers prove you wrong, but i guess it's impossible to prove. the argument you are taking is like saying Crosby isn't the best in the league because he's been on a stacked team.
Maybe crosby/babcock are the reasons their teams are always good? |

Because he is overrated. That is the problem. He is not the best coach in hockey. I guess whatever sells for MLSE, sure did make headlines. |

I'm willing to take him or Hitchcock as an answer but were you not getting on Babcock for having good teams? Have you seen Chicago's roster? They have (frank)ing Hossa playing a supporting role. They have the depth to only play Seabrook 18 minutes in the playoffs.

so hockey canada needs to sell/make headlines too? And first of all, MLSE could hire you to be coach and they'd still sell out every game. |

Crosby is a great player, so is Malkin, so is Letang. They are the reasons why Blysma had the success he had while coaching there. Would he have that same success on the Leafs, absolutely not. It's quite simple to understand. |

Except he's been considered the best coach long before he was an seen as an option for the Leafs. |
