you can use the same number twice
if you use for example 1 613 966 XXXX
then next time use 613 966 XXXX
just drop the 1
and for whoever was asking about the draft pick we give up for Babcock its in that link I think its over the next 3 years - PinkSock
so hopefully they wait till the 3rd year to give it. allows them to continue to acquire assets till then |

These things you mention are possibilities and what concern me too but they are far from guaranteed to happen.
What I will tell fans is to just be cautiously optimistic. We all remember 2008 and Burke coming here. Everyone loved it. How do you feel today about Burke's fingerprints? - Mr_Smokey
Exactly what I'm thinking. Each time a new regime takes over and the new Hockey Christ is anointed, they get the delusional thoughts of grander, that they're much better then they really are. They dismiss their original goals, thinking they can speed it up and make the same mistakes, thinking that their roster is better then it is. They must tear down and ship out this core, no if's and's or but's!

As compensation for hiring Mike Babcock, the leafs will give the redwings a third-round pick in 2015, 2016 or 2017. They chose when. |

i agree with losing the core, but i don't agree if its just for picks.
need to turn a couple of them into solid NHLers |

The order in which they got here matters. So too does the fact one side runs this ship

agreed, and if it means taking a bad contract back to get a better pick or player, do it. just as long as it expires within the next 3-5 years |

I agree....they need younger assets. Something like a Seth Jones for Phil Kessel and parts going each way. They need to solidify their top defensive pairing and need a young, right hand shooting defenseman, to play with Rielly.

i didn't think it would be possible to pry jones out of nashville, but with josi's play this year, it is more likely. i would like to see them pursue young NHLer's, rather than just prospects. |

You must have been listening to Jeff O'Neil today, when he talked about how gritty Belleville was and about Sneaky Petes.

If they could spin that deal, to pry Jones out of Nashville, they'd set themselves up within a couple of years, of making a run at the playoffs. Enough can't be said about having a top pairing defense that can play 28 minutes a game. They can slot the bottom 4 to play 18 and 14 munutes respectfully. We have the assets to try and make that deal, with Nashville probably hunting for offense, after another disappointing loss in the first round. As long as Weber is still on the team, Seth Jones will be relegated to second pair minutes.
