The Oiler's having to surrender picks to SJ and BOS for hiring two guys that those clubs fired is the most ridiculous thing I have heard all day. It should be the other way around, since those clubs no longer have to continue to pay them.

I dont think he's overrated. I do however think his scouting staff has made him look better than he is.

I don't think that he's over rated either, but I agree with Vantel: why would a team just beginning a rebuild even be interested in paying crazy money for one of the most hyper-competitive coaches in the league. They just can't seem to help using their financial might to win the offseason every summer, whether they need it or not.

What has really made him look good is Datsyuk Lidstrom and Zetterberg. Let's see if Lupul Grimace and Dion can do the same

Look where all those guys were drafted. This teams office made Babcock look really good. Is he a good coach, I do believe so. Is he as much of a god as many are making him out to be? I dont think so AT ALL.
